Right tackle is all Chase Lundt has known for the past six years.
It鈥檚 the only position the Buffalo Bills鈥 rookie offensive lineman played throughout his college career at UConn, which spanned 49 games.

Bills rookie offensive tackle Chase Lundt, left, takes part in practice Tuesday. Lundt played exclusively on the left side in Saturday's preseason opener.
That changed Saturday, however, as Lundt played a team-leading 43 offensive snaps in the Bills鈥 preseason opener against the New York Giants, and none of them were at right tackle. He lined up at left tackle for 27 snaps and right guard for 16 snaps in the 34-25 loss.
鈥淚 think something that everybody had a knock on me with was the fact that I had only played right tackle my six years I was in college, so just being able to go out there and show that I can play different positions and show that I鈥檓 not just a one-position player, I think that鈥檚 a big deal,鈥 Lundt said Tuesday.
According to analytics website Pro Football Focus, Lundt did not allow a pressure in 34 pass-blocking snaps on Saturday.

鈥淚 thought he did some good things,鈥 Bills coach Sean McDermott said. 鈥淚f (offensive line coach Aaron Kromer) was sitting here, (he鈥檇) echo the same. To be able to play two positions, I think, shows some level of flexibility.鈥
Lundt is expected to see a significant amount of playing time in Sunday鈥檚 second preseason game against Chicago. He鈥檚 locked in a tight competition for a depth offensive line roster spot, so again showing versatility will benefit him.
鈥淓verything happens a lot faster inside,鈥 he said. 鈥淪o I think for me, just using the snap count to my advantage is one thing, throwing my hands, not being reactive, but being aggressive and showing that I can put hands and put paws on guys.鈥
Highlights
Safety Cam Lewis showed excellent closing speed in getting to wide receiver Elijah Moore on Tuesday for what would have been a short gain. 鈥 Wide receiver Keon Coleman ended practice on a strong note, making a back-shoulder touchdown catch from Josh Allen with cornerback Ja鈥橫arcus Ingram in coverage. Tight end Dalton Kincaid had a pair of long gains during full-team work, including one in which linebacker Matt Milano had tight coverage.
Davis struggles

Before practice, McDermott was asked for an update on kicker Tyler Bass, who has missed nine practices and the first preseason game with pelvic soreness.
鈥淲e鈥檝e got to get going, and Tyler knows that,鈥 McDermott said. 鈥淲e鈥檝e talked. I know (special teams coordinator Chris Tabor) and Tyler have talked. We鈥檝e got to get going and he鈥檒l be out there today a little bit. We鈥檙e trying to get him going.鈥
Leaving early
Left tackle Dion Dawkins left practice with head athletic trainer Nate Breske with a little less than an hour left in the session and did not return. 鈥 Wide receiver Joshua Palmer was seen stretching on the sideline and was not in for team drills toward the end of full-team work. 鈥 Wide receiver K.J. Hamler landed hard trying to make a catch on the right sideline and was looked at by a trainer coming off the field.
